The Toyota PROACE, launched over the Summer, presents a very complete offering ranging from the Panel Van version to the VIP shuttle of the people carrier. Its striking Under Priority frontal design language identifies it as a new addition to the Toyota family and it is available in a choice of three body sizes - Compact, Medium and Long.
The unprecedented Compact version with a 4.6 m length, has the footprint of a Compact Duty Van (CDV). The Verso range is able to accommodate up to 9 passengers while the panel van can transport load of 4.6 to 6.1 cubic metres.
The PROACE range is available with a selection of five powertrains featuring 1.6 and 2.0 litre diesel engines offering a choice of power outputs and transmissions. The entire range benefits from CO2 emissions reductions over outgoing models, and now targets best-in-class CO2 emissions in the Medium Duty Van (MDV) segment.
“This outstanding, innovative van represents a leap forward compared to its predecessor and deserves to establish Toyota as a major player in the crucial medium van sector.”
“This win is a testament to the quality of the van that Toyota has produced. The PROACE has proved exceptionally popular with the Irish market due to its high levels of safety, comfort and convenience. Toyota is in tune with what customers are looking for and this win has once again proved our status in the industry”.
